    Christina Allan

    Toronto, CAN
Known for her highly charged, vibrant paintings, Christina Allan’s work expresses profound aspects of the human experience.
  • From dramatic, fantastical scenes to introspective psychological portraits, her work populates a world of mythical creatures within dream-like landscapes. Embodying an in-between space – an escape from an absurd quotidian existence – Allan’s paintings are informed by philosophical ideas, existentialist writings, and the mythology of ancient civilisations. Allan received her BFA in Painting from Parsons School of Design in 2017 and she was awarded the Dean’s BFA Scholarship. Her paintings can be found in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
